In a burial chamber outside Jerusalem, archaeologists uncovered two tiny silver amulets rolled tight as cigarettes. When they were carefully unrolled, they revealed the Priestly Blessing of Numbers 6:24-26 in Paleo Hebrew, etched around 600 BCE. That is roughly four centuries older than the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the oldest known text echoing the Hebrew Bible.
