This is about honoring tradition while we are in this land of captivity. Not about perfection. First-time observers, households with kids, and anyone who wants a simple, joyful start are welcome.

Why our feast dates may differ

Households who keep the feast days by the civil dates common in Judaism, or who follow other Israelite camp reckonings, may see different civil dates for the same appointed times. That difference is expected. It is not a judgment on anyone's sincerity or love for the Word.

This pack maps the biblical feast days using a priestly calendar tradition preserved in the Dead Sea Scrolls and related to the Book of Enoch (often called the Enoch calendar): a cyclical 364-day / solar-cycle reckoning. We share that framing so you understand why our dates can differ, with respect for other households.

Torah first

Yom Teruah is a memorial of teruah and a set-apart gathering (Leviticus 23:23 to 25; Numbers 29:1).
